The STS Boot Camp is designed to provide an experiential foundation and hands-on practice in basic cardiothoracic operating skills. Resident participants will receive expert instruction and utilize simulators that enhance the learning experience by replicating real-world cases and emergency scenarios.
The American Academy of Cardiovascular Perfusion (AACP) is the second largest International Perfusion Society in the United States. The purpose of the Academy is to encourage and stimulate investigation and study which will increase the knowledge of cardiovascular perfusion, to correlate and disseminate such knowledge.
ECMO and the Advanced Therapies for Cardiovascular and Respiratory Failure Conference sponsored by Children's National Hospital. The conference will address the educational needs of health care workers involved in the care of neonatal, pediatric and adult patients in respiratory and/or cardiac failure.
