A Walk Through History

The name CALIFIA® is inspired by the legendary Queen Califia, a mythical warrior who ruled over the fabled island of California in a 16th-century Spanish novel, Las Sergas de Esplandián. Her story embodies strength, ambition, and the allure of a land rich in opportunity—a fitting symbol for California itself. As a California-based business, we chose CALIFIA® to honor this legacy and reflect the pioneering spirit, creativity, and boldness that define both our state and our brand.
